This is one of those "medicinal soaps". Jewelweed is a skin supportive herb, and you will aways find it growing around poison ivy. That's because it is sort of its kryptonite. It can help neutralize the poison ivy oils. This soap is great for gentle cleansing, soothing the skin and acne, but you can also keep it on hand to wash the area if exposed to poison ivy. Be sure to use clean hands and lather the soap, and THEN clean the area exposed never retouching the soap. Just make sure the bar is FULLY dry and store in a safe container.
